SFV Services is looking for an energized and driven Architect/Project Manager with 5+ years of experience to join our team! As an Architect/Project Manager, you will apply your knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, strategic thinking, and collaborative skills to manage projects from inception through the final stages of construction. This includes managing client relationships, developing and presenting design proposals, preparing drawings, specifications, construction documents, and managing project teams. You should be able to take ownership of your projects, be it in the design and construction of a new building, an extension, or an alterations project, and deliver on the client's requirements.

Responsibilities
- Control project from start to finish to ensure high-quality, innovative, and functional design
- Develop ideas keeping in mind the client’s needs, building’s usage, and environmental impact
- Produce detailed drawings and make any necessary corrections
- Compile project specifications
- Keep within budgets and timelines
- Ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines, and regulations
- Coordinate all documentation associated with construction, RFI s, change orders, and document submissions
- Coordinate with outsourced architectural and MEP consultants to ensure the client's brand standards are met, and necessary permits are obtained
- Create renderings for presentations, and coordinate architectural and MEP elements in projects
Requirements and skills
- Proven working experience as an Architect
- Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards
- Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design software (Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, 3d Studio VIZ or similar)
- Strong imagination and the ability to think and create in three dimensions
- Visual awareness and an eye for detail
- Communication and project management skills
- BS degree in Architecture
- NCARB Certified preferred
Desired
- Prior experience working with large multi-site clients (franchise OR corporate stores)
- Prior Specialty Retail (restaurants) space experience
- 6+ years of post-educational work experience as an Architect
